Marius’ TOP 10 ideas for this season

Its September!!!  My TOP 10 ideas for this coming season:

1. Make use of photos of yourself and your groom on your save-the-date email. Whether printed or on email, a personalised save-the-date won’t be forgotten.

2. Instead of a place card at each place setting have a personalised menu printed with each guest’s name as the header.

3. Rather than using traditional table numbers, personalise each table by naming it something that pertains to you e.g. your favourite cities in the world, countries you visited together, etc.

4. Instead of a traditional sign in book, have your guests write a message on a ribbon that is then tied to the ceremony area. The ribbon can be collected after the ceremony and saved as a memento for years to come.

5. For a summer wedding – at an outdoor ceremony provide the ladies with fans that are personalised with the names of the bride and groom as well as the wedding date.

6. Let the celebration begin – there’s no better way to make it personal and special than by offering a series of signature cocktails named after each of the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

7. When the time comes to hit the dance floor, have an image made with the bride and groom’s initials projected onto the dance floor.

8. Have a CD with photos of your wedding available for your friends to take home as party favours at the end of the night.

9. Compile a CD of the music played at your wedding, from ceremony to reception to party. Place complimentary CDs on a table from where guests can help themselves to a copy when they depart.

10. Have a slideshow put together with photos of your wedding. Set up a screen or monitor for the show to be seen at the day-after brunch.
